Verizon expands 5G coverage to four more cities Jul 31st 2019, 15:15 After Denver and Providence were added to Verizon's 5G list late last month, Atlanta, Detroit, Indianapolis and Washington, DC are the latest cities where the carrier is now offering its next-generation network. Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband service which utilizes the mmWave technology and is capable of speeds up to 1 Gbps but its coverage is limited to specific areas. There are currently four 5G ready phones in Verizon's lineup including the LG V50 ThinQ 5G, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G as well as the Moto Z3 and Z4 via the 5G Moto Mod.
