Google Home app teardown reveals color control for smart lights Feb 26th 2019, 03:45 The latest 'APK Insight' from 9to5Google tears down the newest version of the Google Home app (v2.9) and reveals which features we might come to expect in an upcoming update to the app. Currently, with the Google app on iOS and Android you can toggle lights within your home on and off and adjust their brightness. You can do the same thing with Google Home smart displays right after you give a vocal command that adjusts a light or group of lights.
