Sprint's Galaxy S9 and S9+ are now receiving the Android 9 Pie update Feb 1st 2019, 00:30 Another day, another US carrier pushes out the update to Android 9 Pie to its Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ units. A couple of days ago it was Comcast's Xfinity Mobile, yesterday it was Verizon, and today it's Sprint's turn. The update is unsurprisingly rolling out in phases, so you'll see the notification at some point within the next few days. Once you install the new software, which comes in as a 2GB download, you'll be on build number G960UOYN3CSAB for the S9, and G965UOYN3CSAB for the S9+.
