Asus' Zenfone Max phones allure with their huge batteries, but they tend to miss out on premium trends - like 18:9 screens. That just changed with the unveiling of the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) and its 5.7" IPS LCD screen (1,080 x 2,160px). The phone boasts a 4,130mAh battery, enough for 13 hours of video playback. The MediaTek 6750T chipset (also used in the Zenfone 3s Max) features eight Cortex-A53 cores so it is no speed demon and the older 28nm process doesn't help its power efficiency.
