Currently, the display is tuned to show sRGB despite its ability to produce wide-gamut colors in the DCI-P3 color range, this range of colors would be brought out when an app demanded it. Many aren't satisfied with the current rendition of colors on the Pixel 2 XL, saying that they look muted in comparison to other leading smartphones.
