US LG G6 gets bootloader unlock option Jun 30th 2017, 07:45 A few weeks ago, the LG G6 made it to the list of smartphones with officially supported bootloader unlocking. However, it was specifically the European model that was added to the list. The list has now been updated once again to reflect that the feature is available for the US variant as well. Unlocking the bootloader lets you do things like running a custom ROM, but it's worth keeping in mind that the process also voids your device's warranty.
