Wireless HTC Vive 2 rumored for CES unveiling Dec 29th 2016, 01:00 Just yesterday HTC mysteriously decided to cut the price of its Vive VR headset by $100. And a new rumor from the company's home of Taiwan now sheds some light on why that may have happened. It turns out that a second generation Vive may be closer than we expected. We've already heard that HTC is working on a Vive 2, but a Taipei-based Central News Agency report claims the new VR headset will in fact be unveiled at CES at the beginning of January. If this pans out, it means that we're mere days away from that official announcement. The Vive 2 will reportedly be wireless, so perhaps HTC...
